Game against Hannover 96

The first half the season is now over. I have to say, the start of the season ( Niedersachsenliga 2016/2017) was pretty difficult.
It was first in the U19 (1998/1999) category. From my point of view, it could be slightly more successful for me.

All together, we played 13 games (out of 26), + 3 Cup games. We got through all round the the Niedersachsen-Pokal, getting through some very strong teams such as Eintracht Braunschweig ( Bundesliga) or a team for Regionalliga (2nd league). As we got to the semi-finals we faced one of the most famoust club in the region Hannover 96 U19, which also plays in the Bundesliga North. This game took part pretty lately from perspective as we were playing on 14.12.2016 on the artificial grass. We got through all the rounds mainly because of our successful tactics.
To be honest, I am not a great fan of the style we play. We play normal 4-4-2, where side deferender do not have much space on the lines, because the wing keep often the wide, not allowing them to run there. I am saying this because I have played some game on the positio of the right/left differender, yet I do not love this possition. Back to the game against Hannover 96. We lost 0:2 (0:1) mainly due to receiving a goal already in the first half. Till then we used to play a style of defending, and playing on the counter-attack against the stronger opponents.

However, in this game our strategy failed and could not be completed as we received a goal in the 37th minute and then we had to open the game against such a strong enemy. Unfortunatelly, I got into the game in the 81th minute, so I have played only around 13 minutes. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and one out of my bigest successes in football till now. Who can say, that had played against Eintracht Braunschweig or Hannover 96? We had the biggest amount of the audience coming there, ever. Our club was even taking money for the entrance against such a team. :D There was around 450 people coming, including the fanclub, who did support us. When I got on the pitch I was honestly quie scared, hah, but after the first touch with the ball everything was better.
